To keep transit in the public eye, ESTHER, NAOMI, JONAH, SOPHIA, MICAH and RIC held activities during Transit Awareness Week in collaboration with the state-wide Coalition for More Responsible Transportation. Corporately, we engaged 7 legislators directly, got media coverage in four cities and … here’s the exciting part… collected 96 transit rider stories!

      • MICAH, Milwaukee had 2 ride the bus days with legislators
      • SOPHIA, Waukesha had a Transit Day where they collected stories, talked with press, and handed out donuts
      • RIC, Racine, MOSES, Madison, ESTHER, Appleton and Oshkosh all had volunteers collecting stories
      • JONAH, Eau Claire legislators held office hours on the bus
